Where do my videos go after I compress them? Back to your Photo Library or Files app, depending on where you started. The compressed file is saved as a new MP4. Your original is left untouched unless you choose to delete it.
Are my videos uploaded anywhere? No. All compression happens locally on your device. Your videos never leave your phone.
How do I restore my lifetime purchase on a new device? Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you sign in with the same Apple ID, your lifetime unlock will return.
Why does the compressed file still look the same size? Photos app caches thumbnails. Pull down to refresh, or open the file from Files for the actual compressed size. Also note: very high quality settings reduce size only modestly.
The compression failed or got stuck. What do I do? Make sure you have free storage at least equal to the original file size. Close other apps. If it persists, email us with the file length and quality setting.
Can I compress multiple videos at once? Yes, batch compression is supported. Select multiple videos in the picker.
How do I refund a purchase? Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com with your Apple ID.
