This is the Privacy Policy for Minesweeper: No Guess Puzzle, an iOS game published by Cloud Motion Lab LLC ("we", "our", "us"). It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. If a section is unclear, write to dev@slyapp.co.
There is no account and no login. Your games, times, streaks, statistics and theme choice are written to your own device and never leave it. We do not know who you are. What does leave the device is limited to three things: anonymous usage counts, a purchase receipt if you buy something, and an ad request if you choose to watch an ad. None of them carry your name, your email, or a device advertising identifier.
Game data, stored only on your device. Boards in progress, completed games, win and loss counts, best times, daily streak records, achievements, unlocked themes and settings are stored locally using the operating system's standard app storage. We have no server that holds them and no way to read them.
Anonymous usage analytics. We use TelemetryDeck to count events such as an app launch, a game started, a game won or lost, a hint used, and a purchase screen being shown. TelemetryDeck is a privacy-focused analytics provider that does not build user profiles. Events carry no name, no email, no account and no advertising identifier. They tell us how many people finished a board, never which person did.
Purchase data. If you buy the one-time unlock or a subscription, Apple processes the payment. Apple does not give us your card details or your billing address. We use RevenueCat to read the receipt Apple issues so the app knows what you are entitled to. RevenueCat sees an anonymous installation identifier and the receipt, not your identity.
Advertising. The app uses Unity Ads. When you choose to watch an ad, Unity receives the technical information it needs to serve one, which includes device type, operating system version, coarse country and IP address. We receive aggregate counts only and never see a profile of you.
We do not ask for the App Tracking Transparency permission and the app never calls for it, so we do not access the Identifier for Advertisers and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, health data or biometric data. The app requests no such permission because it needs none. There is no account to create and no profile to build.
Anonymous usage analytics: legitimate interests, to understand whether the game works and where people get stuck. Purchase and entitlement data: performance of a contract, so that what you paid for unlocks. Advertising data: legitimate interests in funding a free game, limited to non-personalised delivery because we pass no advertising identifier. Where local law requires consent for advertising, Unity applies the regional consent framework at the point the ad is requested.
Apple, for App Store distribution and payment processing. TelemetryDeck, for anonymous analytics, hosted in the European Union. RevenueCat, for purchase receipt validation, hosted in the United States. Unity Technologies, for advertising, hosted in the United States. Transfers out of the EEA and UK rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum where applicable. We use no other processor and we sell nothing to anyone.
Game data stays on your device until you delete the app, and deleting the app deletes it. Anonymous analytics events are retained by TelemetryDeck in aggregate and cannot be traced back to a person, including by us. Purchase records are retained for as long as we must keep them for tax and audit purposes, generally seven years, and are tied to an anonymous installation identifier rather than to you.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws. Because the app passes no advertising identifier, there is no behavioural advertising signal to opt out of. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where they reach us.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia, and users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
Because we hold no identifier that links to you, the practical answer to an access or deletion request about your game records is that we do not have them and cannot retrieve them. The data is yours, on your device, and deleting the app deletes it. To exercise any right against us, email dev@slyapp.co with "Privacy Request" in the subject line and tell us which app and what you want. We respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension where reasonably needed. EEA and UK users may also complain to their local supervisory authority; UK users may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
The game is suitable for a general audience but is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it within 30 days. Contact dev@slyapp.co if you believe a child has provided us with personal information.
Data in transit to our processors is encrypted using TLS. Because we operate no database of user records, the most common category of breach, a server holding user data, does not apply to us. If a breach affecting personal data does occur, we will notify affected users and the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay and within 72 hours of becoming aware where the law requires it.
If we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, give notice in the app. Minor changes such as typographical or formatting fixes may be made without separate notice.
